European Cruise Day 2: At Sea
Disclaimer: These are all unedited and uncensored. They are raw emotion, intellect and information. I hope you enjoy my experiences.
*Miranda and Alyssa are my sisters and Thomas is my soon to be brother in law.*
After a late night with Miranda, I awoke at 11:15 to the maids knocking. I was dreaming about vampires and I was one. Being at sea I’ve dreamt more than I have in a long time. It’s pretty awesome. After eating (with everyone but my dad because he’s an early bird, and we have no way of contact outside of the rooms), he came up and joined us guessing we’d be there. Now I’m in the restroom after a few cups of coffee. Can I just say, I LOVE Australian accents!
We went rock climbing! That was fun. It’s on the ship and free so we can do it whenever we want. Soft serve ice cream is also free! So we’re taking it to putt putt golf with us. We quickly decided not to play putt putt because we’re short of time and Thomas and I want to watch the last bit of Inception that we missed last night. Tonight is formal night at the dinner so I need to freshen up. I hope black jeans are appropriate because that’s all I’ve got…
I’m good to go! I’m wearing a tie I took from my Mom’s closet which I really quite like. It’s black, skinny with a thin repeating red stripe. There are a lot of fancy dresses and tuxedos here today. It’s fun looking around. As we’re at dinner, we began passing by an island. We don’t know what it is. It’s not populated enough to be Crete. It really makes you realize how big the world is. Just imagine what’s underneath the surface of the sea.
The sunset was more than just a sunset tonight. It was magic. Over the islands that we still don’t know, it was shining into the sea as if to bring it light. It was phenomenal. We all took a walk around the deck to soak it in.
